It all began innocently enough with a few neighbors getting together to play some tunes. Before long, it just didn’t seem right to not share the music with others. As time went on, the band grew to its present number of six, and began to branch out musically. It started as a Cajun band with some bluegrass and blues and has now grown to include zydeco, rock and roll and all kinds of crazy music and antics. As the name “Jumbled” implies, you never know quite what you will get. Band members are:
Rob Coffey-fiddle, accordions, harmonica, keyboard and vocals
John Boyd-lead guitar & Vocals
Deborah North – stand up & electric bass
Linden Jordan – rhythm guitar and vocals
We can’t guarantee much, but we can say that you will have a very good time at the concert. Cajun and Zydeco dance lessons will be provided
“Wait a minute Chester” – is a partial reincarnation of a 1980’s Skagit Valley rock n’ roll band called “The Nimrods”, and includes members that have also been a part of the current Skagit Valley band “Slim Fat Lips”. “Wait a minute Chester” is the love child that has emerged from this local evolution, playing a full spectrum of music that ranges from original progressive rock, to classic rock covers, to blues, and a smattering of country. The energy ranges from contemplative to energetic and downright danceable, with something for everybody, and a surprise in every package.
Band members include John Meier, Guitar/Vocals/Songwriter; Richard Donovan Guitar, Slide Guitar; Robert Donovan, Bass/Vocals/Songwriter; David Clinkston, Drums/Vocals/Songwriter
