Always… Patsy Cline, a musical tribute to the beloved country western star, opens Friday, February 10th at The Conway Muse and runs for eight weekends. Featuring local performer Ria Peth Vanderpool, the musical weaves 27 songs into the story of Cline’s long-time friendship with a devoted fan, Louise Seger, played by co-star Kelly Visten.

Performances are on most Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $28, and are available online at www.theaterartsguild.com.

Supported by a lively 7-piece country band, the musical includes many of Patsy’s unforgettable hits such as Crazy, I Fall to Pieces, Sweet Dreams and Walking After Midnight. The show’s title was inspired by Cline’s letters to Seger, which were consistently signed “Love ALWAYS… Patsy Cline.”

“The Muse is such a perfect venue for this show,” Ria explained. “It has a wonderful old-timey atmosphere. It’s like performing in the small bars and night clubs where Patsy spent so much of her career and made so many of her fans fall in love with her music.”

DINNER: Is served from 5-7pm with a PATSY CLINE  SPECIAL; Chicken and Smoked  Sausage Gumbo with white Rice & Patsy Cline’s moms old fashioned strawberry shortcake  – $14.50 –

The Conway Muse is located at 18444 Spruce Street in Conway. The Muse restaurant opens at 6:00 pm and is available to patrons before the show. Visit www.theaterartsguild.org for more information and a link to online ticket sales.
